DESCRIPTION:Join us for the only Animal Flow® Level 3 Workshop in Europe this year on September 7-8\, 2024\, in Prague\, Czech Republic! The two-day event is 8 hours each day\, from 9:00am to 5:00pm on Saturday and Sunday. The workshop will be hosted at The Dancers’ Club in Prague. We are excited to invite you to join us in this epic new course\, taught in English\, by Animal Flow Creator Mike Fitch.  \nABOUT THE COURSE\nLevel 3 is designed to not only bring your own flow practice to another level\, but to also improve your knowledge of the science\, teaching methods\, and coaching qualities that make a Level 3 Instructor. \nCourse curriculum includes: \n\nDeep dive into the 4 Pillars of Animal Flow\nProgressive Tuck Balance training\nProgressive “Float” (Tuck Planche) training\nTons of new L3 movements\nAnatomy and biomechanics of Animal Flow\nWorking with ground reaction force\nAnimal Flow language and Call Out reviews\nBreath mobility\nCreating style through the exploration of the skeletal system\nFree Flow\nAdvanced Coaching\n\nThe L3 workshop includes supplemental work before and after the workshop. You’ll be able to work through a lot of this at your own pace. We’ll have a private Facebook group for students prior to the workshop\, which you’ll gain immediate access to upon registration. In that group you’ll find 8 assignments to help you prepare for the day of the workshop. By the time you get to the day of the course\, you’ll already be well into your L3 preparation! After the course\, we have another private support group where you can interact with all your fellow Flowists who are preparing their L3 test. \nPRE-REQUISITES\nYou MUST have attended a Level 2 Animal Flow workshop PRIOR to taking L3. As is required for your L2 test out\, we advise that you have a strong Tuck Balance practice and can ideally hold it for at least 1 second. \nWHAT’S INCLUDED\nYour registration includes: \n\nComplimentary access to the full library of instructional videos for all Level 3 movements. You will also receive videos of all the course lectures after the workshop\nLevel 3 manual\, in both digital and hard copy formats\nCertificate of Completion\, including proof of participation for Continuing Education credits. SUMMARY:Animal Flow Level 2 London (Aug)
DESCRIPTION:Take your Animal Flow practice to a higher level of understanding at the Level 2 from August 3-4\, 2024. The two-day event is 6.5 hours each day\, from 10am to 4:30pm\, on Saturday and Sunday. It will take place at the London School of Capoeira\, in London. This workshop will be taught in English by Master Instructor Richard Scrivener. The Level 2 workshop is open to anyone who has taken Level 1. \nABOUT LEVEL 2\nBuilding upon the strong foundations learned in Level 1\, Level 2 teaches 10 more new moves\, as well as progressions for hand balancing. You’ll delve into more advanced concepts like energy transfers\, tempo changes and using animal locomotion in flows\, while engaging in intermediate level flow design. Read more about the LEVEL 2 WORKSHOP HERE. \nParticipants will learn how to successfully perform the Level 2 exercises\, as well as how to correctly integrate the movements with Level 1 to create extended Flows with an increased degree of complexity and intensity. Participants also learn how to instruct the movements and incorporate them into a training program. Emphasis is placed on understanding how the Level 2 movements train the fascial slings of the body; understanding the role of dissipating force\, fluidity\, and leverage in the advanced movements; and understanding how to instruct a range of progressive drills and conditioning exercises that form the introduction to hand balancing practice. \nThe full-day agenda includes: \n\nReview of key Level 1 moves\nIntro to Hand Balancing: Tuck Balance Progressions\nNew Transitions: Reaching Underswitch; Reaching Underswitch to Deep Ape; Scorpion Sweeps; Roll Throughs; and Crocodile Rolls\, Pop Switches and Pop Outs;\nNew Traveling forms: Bear\, Leopard\, Crocodile;\nUsing traveling forms as a “link” for switches and transitions;\nHow and why to introduce tempo change and energy redirects into a flow;\nIntermediate flow design\n\nLevel 2 Continuing Education\nParticipants are eligible to receive Continuing Education credits from National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) – .9 CE; American Fitness Association of America (AFAA) – 9 CEUs; American Council on Exercise (ACE) – 1 CEC. \nELIGIBILITY\nTo enroll in Level 2\, you must have already taken the Level 1 workshop at least 30 days prior to the date of the L2 workshop. While we strongly recommend that you complete your Level 1 certification prior to the workshop\, you may still enroll even if you have not fully completed the test process to become a Certified Instructor. Note that we schedule travel and instructor time based on the number of registrations several months in advance\, so we cannot offer full refunds if you must cancel. \nIf you must cancel due to a conflict\, emergency (including but not limited to having COVID)\, or other reason\, you have the option of transferring your registration to a future online or in-person event.\nIf you are requesting a cash refund\, the amount of refund is dependent on the length of time until the event. For registrations that have “paid in full” (early registration or regular registration)\, refunds are made minus a $15 processing fee\, according to the following schedule: 60 days or more until event: 100%; 45-60 days 75%; 30-45 days: 50%; 15-29 days: 25%; two weeks or less until event: $0. Requests for cash refunds must be made within two weeks of your cancellation.\nOtherwise\, you will be provided with a transfer credit for a future workshop (credit expires within 1 year). There is a $75 transfer fee. Anyone who cancels within 1 week of the workshop\, under any circumstances\, will automatically fall under this transfer category.
